How to make a network cable using UTP and RJ45

Quick instructions on how to prepare a UTP cable and crimp a RJ45 connector in order to make a Network cable.

 

Tools:

  • UTP “Category 5” cable (as long as you need it).
  • RJ45 connectors (as many as you need).
  • 1 Crimping tool. (you may consider borrowing it from someone if you don’t plan to use it often).
