How to fix a mouse by replacing the click button

This tutorial shows how to fix a mouse by replacing its defective click with a click recovered from an older dead mouse.

 

TOOLS:

  • Screwdriver
  • Soldering iron
  • Some solder
  • Very small flat head screwdriver

STEPS:

  1. Disassemble the mouse your are fixing
  2. Remove the defective click button
  3. Get a replacement part
  4. Put the working click in the mouse you are fixing
  5. Add solder to the click pins to ensure good connection with the board
  6. Reassemble your fixed mouse.
